Yiannis Tripanagnostopoulos is Associate Professor in Physics Department at the University of Patras and researcher in the field of Solar Energy and other Renewable Energy Sources. His main works are in solar thermal collectors and photovoltaics, passive solar systems, solar energy concentrating systems, hybrid photovoltaic/thermal solar systems, small wind turbines and energy systems to agriculture. He has performed 12 projects as Coordinator and has published 29 papers in peer reviewed International Journals and has presented 110 papers in International and National Conferences. He is member of ISES, ASES, ISHS and the Greek Societies of Solar Energy and Wind Energy and he has also participated to IEA Task35 and ESTTP.
