Σύντομο Βιογραφικό
Ο Κώστας Ψυχαλίνος έλαβε πτυχίο Φυσικού και Διδακτορικό Δίπλωμα Ηλεκτρονικής από το Τμήμα Φυσικής του Πανεπιστημίου Πατρών το 1986 και 1991, αντίστοιχα. Στο διάστημα 1993-1995 εργάστηκε ως μεταδιδακτορικός ερευνητής στο Εργαστήριο Σχεδιασμού Ολοκληρωμένων Κυκλωμάτων του Πανεπιστημίου Πατρών. Από το 1996 έως το 2000 δίδαξε ως Λέκτορας στο Τμήμα Μηχανικών Η/Υ και Πληροφορικής του Πανεπιστημίου Πατρών.Στο διάστημα 2000-2004 υπηρέτησε ως Επίκουρος Καθηγητής στο Εργαστήριο Ηλεκτρονικής του Τμήματος Φυσικής στο Αριστοτέλειο Πανεπιστήμιο Θεσσαλονίκης.
Από το 2004 έως σήμερα υπηρετεί ως μέλος ΔΕΠ στο Εργαστήριο Ηλεκτρονικής του Τμήματος Φυσικής στο Πανεπιστήμιο Πατρών, και από τον Σεπτέμβριο του 2014 υπηρετεί ως Καθηγητής.
Τα ερευνητικά του ενδιαφέροντα εστιάζονται στην ανάπτυξη CMOS αναλογικών ολοκληρωμένων κυκλωμάτων, που περιλαμβάνουν κυκλώματα και συστήματα κλασματικής τάξης, φίλτρα συνεχούς και διακριτού χρόνου, ενισχυτές, και κυκλώματα αναλογικής επεξεργασίας σήματος.
Είναι Αντιπρόεδρος του Τμήματος Φυσικής (2022-2024).
Επίσης, είναι Διευθυντής του Εργαστηρίου Ηλεκτρονικής, και Διευθυντής του Προγράμματος Μεταπτυχιακών Σπουδών “Εφαρμογές της Φυσικής στην Ατμόσφαιρα και στην Ηλεκτρονική”.
Είναι IEEE Senior Member, και Member of the Nonlinear Circuits and Systems Technical Committee of the IEEE CAS Society.
